Products and Production

How and where are OY Surf Apparel products made?

OY Surf Apparel products are made by a small family business under fair working conditions. Until 2015 they were working in Bali, but have now moved to Java, Indonesia. All products are made of 100% high quality lycra.

Why are there differences in size and color on supposedly identical pieces?

All OY Surf Apparel bikinis are tailored by hand. The sublimation printing technique also makes each piece unique. Therefore small differences in shape, size and color may occur.

Shipment, returns/exchanges and payment

What should I do if I receive a damaged product?

As stated in our terms and conditions we accept returns within 7 days of the shipment date. If you receive a damaged bikini we also accept exchanges within 7 days. If there is any damage after the 7 day period, feel free to send us a picture and we will see what we can do. Mostly we suggest you get it fixed by a tailor and send us the invoice. We don’t like to throw something away if it can still be fixed. We provide this free repair service for 6 months within delivery.

I don't have a PayPal-Account. Is there another way to buy online?

Yes, you can also pay by direct bank transfer and soon per credit card. We’ll keep you informed of the options.

What can I do if my package doesn’t arrive?

The shipping confirmation you receive per email contains your tracking number. With this number you can easily track the package online. If the package was sent but hasn’t arrived, please contact the post office directly, since you’re the only one authorized to make further inquiries. If you have any difficulties, please feel free to contact us.

How can I exchange a product?

For the moment, please contact us, if you wish to exchange a product. Soon it will be possible to do the whole exchange process including refund by logging onto our website. We’ll keep you informed.

How long does shipping in Switzerland take?

Shipping in Switzerland takes 2-3 business days, counting from the day you receive your shipping confirmation.

Size & Style

I'm not sure what size to order. What can I do?

Our goal is to make sure every woman feels confident and comfortable wearing an OY Surf Apparel product. If you are unsure about what size to order, check out our size and style guide. If you would like to try on the bikini before buying, maybe OY is available at a retailer close to you.

I’m a size DD cup or larger, Will your suits fit me?

Sure! Our tops Santi, Lou and Milli are specially suited for larger breasts and/or wide upper bodies. For further information check out our Size and Style guide.

Most collaborations happen spontaneously, but if you’d like to become an Ambassador for OY, you should be active on social media, love to travel and meet new people.
